I am not responsible for any customs fees or additional charges added to your parcel during and / or after shipping. Customs fees may be added to any order outside of the UK.


Shipping costs - Shipping costs vary depending on the country ,prefered method of shipping and the size and weight of the item. All orders are shipped from the UK via the Royal Mail. Below are estimated for shipping costs. Shipping times are estimates provided by Royal Mail, given there are no delays. Each option has two prices. The first price is for smaller parcels and the second is for larger parcels. Prices may change at any time. I may upgrade your shipping if for any reason you have over-paid shipping at checkout, Standard shipping does not come with any tracking numbers.

The item(s) will only be shipped once payment has completed and has been received in full. Orders are usually shipped Friday every week before 4pm UK time. All orders are shipped from the UK via Royal Mail. I am not responsible for the order once it has been passed over to the postal service. If you have chosen a shipping method that does not include full insurance or tracking, you could be responsible for paying for a replacment or not receive a refund should anything happen during transit.

I will ship to the address given and if the parcel is returned to me after failed delivery, you will be contacted regarding what to do next. You will be expected to pay for redelivery.

Returns / Refunds - If there is a problem with your order, you will be required to send me a detailed description of the issue and pictures if necessary. From there I will offer appropriate solutions to your problem. This is usually either a refund or replacement. If there is no fault, you may still receive a refund if the item is returned to me and is in the same condition it was in when it left me (new, no damages). You will be required to pay for return delivery and once the item(s) have been inspected, you may receive a refund for the value of the item(s) and not for the original or return postage costs.


Packaging

I try to keep my packaging as discrete as possible while still being identifiable. My store name “Bats Boutique” is written in small on the front of the parcel as a return address. This is required by law. I also add an “express bat post” decorative stamp to the front of all parcels. If you are purchasing 18+ items, there will be no obvious markings on the outside of the package to show this.

For UK shipping - no customs label (CN22) is needed so there is no indication of what is inside the package. I do include a black “bat post” stamp on the front of orders to identify my parcels.

For international shipping - A customs label (CN22) is needed. "Costume" is written on the label as the description of the item. The weight and value of the item is also given on this label. I am required to provide this label and information by law. I cannot remove it. I also include a black “bat post” stamp on the front of orders to identify my parcels.

Eco Friendly - I always strive to make my packaging as eco-friendly as possible. The green coloured bubble wrap I use is biodegradable, all tissue paper is acid free and boxes, twine, paper, labels and cards are all recyclable.
